If you're pregnant and you would like to fly, you must consult your personal doctor.
The most recommended period of time for pregnant women to fly is during their second trimester. In this trimester, the morning sickness is probably over, the energy levels are relatively high, and the big day is a few months away.
Here are some tips to make you through the flight in the most convenient way:
1. Ask to sit near the pass, so you could walk around the plane freely.
2. It's recommended to extract your bones and walk around every once in a while, and thus fight the swelling and the feeling of inconveniency.
3. Wear comfortable and loosed clothes and flat shoes during your flight day.
4. Pay attention that the seat belt during the flight will be around your hips. If the seat belt is not around your stomach, ask the stewardess for an addition to the belt.
5. Ask the stewardess for a small pillow, and put it below your lower side of your back to avoid strained back.
6. If you feel nausea, bring with you things that relaxes sensitive stomach, like: lemon, mint tea or ginger. The stewardesses will be pleased to assist you. Drink a lot of water. Try to drink at least one liter of water for every two hour of flight.
